KAMSS Group jointly with BelAZ has successfully completed the tests under the gas-diesel dump truck project. Series assembly of 136-ton BelAZ-7513S mine trucks with a gas-diesel engine based on Cummins KTA50-C is about to begin in the nearest future.
The roadmap includes the use of the gas-diesel system for 220-ton mine trucks.
The gas-diesel system is a prospective line of mining vehicles development.
This technology enables a mine truck to operate for up to 15 hours without the need to refuel, with about 30% of diesel fuel replaced by natural gas and energy efficiency of the mined rock hauling process increased by 20%.
